Jeffrey N. Leath ('93) is currently at the mid-point in his four-year appointment as a bishop in the AME Church.  Read on for an update on Reverend Leath and his activities in this role.

 

Bill Huizenga ('09) became the Republican Nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives from Michigan's 2nd District, defeating six other candidates in the August 3rd Republican primary.  Bill has been involved in Western Michigan politics since 1997, when he began working as the Director of Public Policy for incumbent U.S. Representative Peter Hoekstra.  A former 3-term member of the Michigan State House of Representatives, he is also a businessman, and is co-owner of Huizenga Gravel Co.  Bill will face his Democratic opponent in the November 2nd General Election.

Charlie Crist is running for the U.S. Senate, and Ben Chandler, Steve Driehaus, Gabrielle Giffords, and Bill Huizenga are running for office in the U.S. House of Representatives in the November 2nd General Election.  See below to read more about these Young Leaders!
